• What inspires you most about being a part of the Elemental Formations family?
Do I really have to choose one thing? The love that this family has for the whole process of creating art and the love we share with each other.
  • How long have you been with Elemental Formations?
    9 months
  • What’s your favourite crystal to work with and why?
My favourite crystal is clear quartz, particularly with warm light. Clear quartz is the first crystal I ever had when I was a kid. I love to look through it, to play with it by placing it on a sun ray and seeing the reflection of light on other objects. That’s what has always drawn me to clear quartz, its power of clarity and enlightenment.
  • How does it make you feel when a piece you personally created gets sent out to light up someone’s home?
When I am working, I get into this meditative state in which I get realisations about the purpose of the life experience; I think that realisation stays in each lamp, and that each time it lights up, the message spreads throughout that person’s home.
  • How many lamps do you have at home?
Currently, I just have one cool amethyst, but hope to get some more that will become presents for family and friends.
  • Where did you grow up, and what brought you to the Sunshine Coast?
I grew up in a little town in the Basque country on the north coast of Spain. During really uncertain times (2020), I was traveling in my van with my partner Nacho. Our dream was to travel throughout the country for a year while we were creating handcrafted macrame jewellery. We realised that the plan had to change. Based on the experience we had while traveling around the Sunshine Coast, we decided to move here. The connection that the community has with nature and the conscious living is what made us fall in love with it.
  • What’s your favorite thing to do on the Sunshine Coast?
To catch sunrises on the beaches and mountains.
  • What’s your favorite place in the world that you have traveled to?
Teide Volcano in Tenerife. This volcano is on the Canary Islands of Spain. Teide Volcano is the highest point in Spain at almost 4000 metres. I climbed up there to see the sunrise, and it was the most beautiful that I have ever seen in my life. While the sun rises on one side, on the other side you can see the shadow of the volcano over the island and the Atlantic ocean. It’s such a magical place.
  • What values are most important to you?

  • What personal projects are you working on at home?
Creating handcrafted macrame and avocado engraving jewelry with my partner Nacho. Creating self-sustainable community living that respects Pachamama and all her beings. Always learning new things.
  • If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
To understand any language to be able to communicate with different cultures without barriers.
  • What’s your favorite treat to eat?
    Roasted Cashews
  • What’s your favorite way to relax?
I love to relax by walking in the forest and connecting with it. Listening to the birds, the wind, and to let my mind become quiet so I am able to receive the wisdom of nature.
