These beautiful fossils were once part of a family of mollusk that used to thrive at the bottom of the seas for over 300 million years. It has been estimated that those fossils are between 240 - 65 millions years old. They became extinct along with the dinosaurs.
Their fossils provide wonderful natural examples of the Fibonacci sequence in sacred geometry.
